Head Coach Tom Crean, And Indiana University Strike Again On The 2012 Recruiting Trail And Land Indianapolis Broad Ripple Star Ron "Buss" Patterson Hoops Indiana August 15, 2010 Head coach Tom Crean, and Indiana University have struck again on the 2012 recruiting trail, and have secured a verbal from highly touted Indianapolis Broad Ripple star Ron "Buss" Patterson of Indiana Elite. Patterson ranks as one of the top Class of 2012 basketball prospects in the country. Patterson, a 6'3" guard, is a highly versatile and athletic backcourt talent who has the ability to impact games on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Patterson is a player who is at his best attacking the rim. Defensively, Patterson does an excellent job of using his long arms and athleticism to clog passing lanes, and to block shots. Patterson committed to Indiana while taking a visit to the campus over the weekend. Patterson selected Indiana over a host of other schools including Tennessee, Xavier and Cincinnati to name a few. Patterson joins a 2012 Indiana recruiting class that already features 7'0" Peter Jurkin, who verballed last week. |
